Old Stone House Trip October 25, 2019
An educational and interesting trip to The Old Stone House museum. Trinity Oaks resident Uta Braun, a long time employee of the Rowan Museum (no relation to the builder of Old Stone House) was one of our docent guides. She regaled us with stories about the preservation of the house as well as the Braun family and living conditions around 1766 when the house was built. Bill Johnson located some of his ancestors on the Braun/Fisher family tree. There are pictures of Bill finding relatives on the family tree. We finished the trip enjoying a picnic lunch at Granite Park.
